The Role:

Are you passionate about leading a fantastic team of social workers, finance people, office staff and creatives to make Cornerstone a household name amongst Christians who consider fostering or adoption? Do you have what it takes to build on 20 years of legacy and take the charity to the next leg of growth? If yes, read on!
Our current CEO is retiring and we are looking for somebody special who can continue our commitment and is able to develop a united culture within Cornerstone with special emphasis on our Christian calling. Having a heart for the vulnerable and marginalised is a must; a good understanding of the nature of adoption and fostering is also essential, as is an appetite for growth and change.
As the new CEO of a growing Christian charity, you will be expected to have clarity and diplomacy when you deal with media interest or represent Cornerstone to the public and to other partner organisations that we work closely with.
As a leader you will use your talents and business expertise to further develop the the organisation and manage the opportunities for development that we are currently involved in.
This role is full time and allows for a hybrid work schedule. We have offices in Doncaster, Newcastle and Menstrie Clarks (Scotland). The post holder would ideally be near one of the England locations and ready to engage with staff, trustees and other stakeholders in-person.

As the only evangelical Christian Fostering Agency in the UK we specialise in offering ‘permanent‘ homes to children in the care of Local Authorities.
