Special Projects

Cornerstone has necessary experience, expertise and resources to be able to respond quickly and efficiently to any unique project requiring a unique solution.

For all our special projects, we will:

• Use a multi-agency approach to review all the issues and problems
• Agree a suitable course of action that satisfies all parties
• Implement the action plan to help the child or young person at
   risk or in need
• Create a team to carry out the special project
• Manage and supervise the team on a day to day basis
• Maintain day to day contact with clients
• Monitor and provide progress reports on a weekly and
   monthly basis for all elements of the special project
• Provide staff for special projects short or long term

Current projects managed by Cornerstone include:

• Single placement for male with Disability and Extremely
  Challenging Behaviour
• Day Care facility for teenage male with SLD and Autism complementing
  school and family care package
• Outreach Support package 40 hours per week plus manager designed to
   support young person with Severe Learning Disability in own home.
