Cornerstone was established in the 1990s to provide the public sector with independent care provision to complement and support existing services.

We place the emphasis on employing high-quality, well-qualified care professionals with a commitment to relevant on-going training and support.

All of the people who work for and with us, share our total commitment to make a genuine difference to the lives of the people in our care.

This commitment has led to a number of achievements:-

• We have numerous on-going long-term contracts with local authorities
• We are on the approved-list of many local authorities for a range of
  services.
• We are on the Youth Justice Board’s Approved list of Secure Escort
  providers
• We are registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI)
• We are a corporate member of Recruitment and Employment Confederation 

   (REC)

• We are an umbrella body for the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB)
